The blast of cool air over the last couple weeks is a good reminder that winter is right around the corner. Now is a good time to seriously think about winterizing your RV if you haven't done so already. You definitely don't want to deal with the disaster of water freezing in the pipes and all the time, hassle, and money of trying to get it fixed. If you need help with this winterizing process, come in to our store and pick up some winterizing tips, and if you need to, pick up any of the winterizing accessories that we carry in stock. If you want experienced technicians to make sure it is done thoroughly and professionally, ask our trained service department. We are even running a special this season for only $69.99.
For many, the camping season is soon coming to a close. For others, though, hunting season and ice fishing are the exciting times to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. For us at Noble RV, we are here year-round so that we can be there for all your RV and service needs. Check out our winter lineup of units which includes a great selection of fish houses from Distinct Builder.
This last month has been pretty exciting here at Noble RV, so we have lots of updates to include in this latest newsletter. We hope you enjoy as we keep you informed on what's going on in the RV world.

Congratulations to Keith Scheid for winning the "Best of Show" at the Annual Classic Car Show here in Owatonna (sponsored by the Night Owls Car Club). Keith is one of our technicians here at Noble RV whose specialty on the side is auto body work. Good job, Keith, and great looking car!
When you stop in our store to pick up any winterizing supplies or just to visit, be sure to register for our monthly drawing for a free giveaway.
Last
month, we mentioned presenting an article on hitches. However, with our
focus on winterizing this month, we'll hold on that article for a
future issue. In the mean time, though, here is some excellent information about hitches and
towing from Ford that you might find very valuable (especially
if you have a newer Ford truck).Employee Highlight
Randy
DraperOne of our highly valued employees has actually been here longer than Noble RV has had its doors open. Randy Draper, a native of Minnesota, helped Mike and Pat start the business here in Owatonna and was key in preparing all the RVs for their first sale. But Randy was not just another local person looking for a job. With over 36 years of experience in the RV industry, he has proven himself to be vital in the success of Noble RV.
"If you can't buy it, then build it," is one of Randy's favorite sayings. Having built motor homes from the ground up, having worked at the largest RV dealer in the country, and being certified in products from Damon, Winnebago, Heartland, Onan, and others, he has the qualifications to make that kind of statement. And, if you have ever worked with Randy, you know that there isn't much that he can't fix. In fact, another of his favorite statements is, "If I can't fix it, then it's not broke." But even with all this knowledge and experience, the most important thing to Randy is that the customer is treated right. He will go out of his way to make sure that you are well taken care of and satisfied with any work that has been done.
One of the things that Randy enjoys most about working on RVs is the challenge of something new to work on every day. When he's not at work, he enjoys woodworking and riding his Harley. He and his wife reside in Warsaw, MN, and they have 2 kids, 1 grandson, and a dog.

Store It Right
Now that winter is around the corner, your auto, boat or RV is likely sitting in a covered garage or somewhere where it is winterized.
Hopefully it's collecting dust, not serving
as a winter home for some unwanted guests. Here is a product that will
keep out rodents that is also safe and environmentally friendly. The
Store It Right Mouse Pouch keeps mice out of your boats, RVs and other
enclosed areas without the use of traps or poisons. This mouse
repellent is patented, EPA registered and proven to be effective at
keeping mice away. It comes packaged in a pouch for easy application -
just place it in the area where you want to keep mice out. A single
pouch is good for 250 sq. ft. Heavily infested areas may require up to
a single pouch per 8 sq. ft. For RVs, place pouches in the engine area
as well as throughout the cab prior to storage. Some of our customers have also given us other good tips to help with pest control. Several have mentioned that dryer sheets stuffed in holes and crevices is particularly helpful in stopping the intrusion of mice. And, if you don't mind the smell, placing mothballs around the RV also seems to be effective.
Rubber Roof
At some point, you will need to get on top
of your RV and clean the roof. Court, one of our sales consultants, did
just that recently on his fifth wheel, and he used a product called
BEST Rubber Roof. He was so impressed that he took some pictures before
he finished to show the dramatic effect that he
experienced.
